Paper Submission
Original papers that are not published previously or under review by other journals or conferences will be considered. All submitted papers will be evaluated according to their originality, significance, correctness, presentation and relevance. The conference proceedings will be published by Springer in series of Smart Innovation, Systems and Technologies (indexed by SCOPUS and Springerlink) IOS Press in series of Frontiers in Artificial Intelligence and Applications (FAIA).
Every paper accepted is required to have at least one author to register in full registration.
Papers will be limited to 10 pages and not be shorter than 6 pages, following LNCS conference proceedings style and guidelines. Papers that present novel ideas, criticize existing work, and discuss practical studies and experiments are especially encouraged.
The format for submission is PDF or DOC. For format and style guidelines authors should refer to: http://www.springer.com/series/8767 Failure to comply will prevent the paper from appearing in the conference proceedings.
All submissions will be handled electronically. Papers must be written in ENGLISH and not exceed 10 pages in the format of LNCS. The instructions of electronic submission are posted on http://ics2014.thu.edu.tw/ together with related style files. Submitted papers must describe work not previously published. They must not be submitted simultaneously to another conference with refereed proceedings or to a journal. Every accepted paper is required to have at least one author to register in full registration before the due day.
Early submission, quick review and selected to SCI / EI journal publication
The symposium proceedings will be published by Springer-Verlag in series of Smart Innovation, Systems and Technologies (indexed by SCOPUS and Springerlink) IOS Press in series of Frontiers in Artificial Intelligence and Applications (FAIA) (Indexed by ACM Digital Library, DBLP, ... etc. ). All the paper review and the acceptance notification will be done in less than 3 weeks. Selected papers will be invited to some special issues of journals. Best paper will be awarded. We welcome early submission, the acceptance of papers will be notified earlier, and high quality papers will be early selected to be included in the journal.
